The first tablets from Sudafed to help relieve pain and mucus congestion in your nose and chest. These triple action cold and flu tablets help relieve the symptoms of cold and flu, including aches and pains, headache, blocked nose, sore throat, chills and chesty coughs.
The active ingredients in the tablets are; Guaifenesin- which is an expectorant to helps loosen the mucus in your chest, Phenylephrine- which is a decongestant to reduce swelling in the nasal passages so you can breathe more easily and Paracetamol- to relieve pain and help bring down your temperature, helping to get you back to your clear-headed self. Each tablet contains 100mg Guaifenesin, 5mg
Phenylephrine Hydrochloride and 250mg Paracetamol.
Adults, the elderly and children 12 years and over: 2 tablets every 4 hours as required. Do not take more than 8 tablets (4 doses) in any 24 hour period. Do not give to children under 12 years old.
Do not take these tablets if you: are allergic to any of the ingredients, have a serious heart condition, have high blood pressure, have diabetes, have an over-active thyroid, have glaucoma, have difficulty passing urine, are taking antidepressant drugs called Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOI's) or have taken them within the last 14 days, are taking other decongestant drugs or stimulants.
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine if you are: pregnant or breast feeding, suffer from kidney or liver problems, including alcoholic liver disease, have circulatory disorders such as a condition called Raynaud's Phenomenon, which results from poor circulation in the fingers and toes, have angina, have an enlarged prostate gland, as this may cause more difficulty in passing urine, have high cholesterol,taking any medicines to thin the blood, taking any medicines to control feeling sick or being sick.
